(Note: If not for this invitation, I wouldn’t have known there were actually tarsiers in the vicinity of Mt. Matutum.)
T’mana tu di Linan are the B’laan phrase which means “walk to Linan”. And Linan, is a sanctuary for Tarsiers near Mt. Matutum and located in Tupi South Cotabato.
T’mana tu di Linan is a fun(d) drive of Brgy. Linan, the Municipal Government of Tupi and is supported by the South Cotabato Arts, Culture, Tourism and Sports Promotion Unit (ACTS), the South Cotabato Culture and Arts Foundation Inc. (SCAFFI), and the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Sports Coordinators of South Cotabato. (ACTS -SC) to save the tarsiers and sanctuary from disappearing in the area. An applaud able effort indeed. Planned Itinerary and details of the fun walk can be seen at Tupi Government website and is reprinted here for your convenience. Feel free to contact their coordinators at number given in the posters!

Gee, antagal ko na sa Tupi pero di pa ‘ko nakapunta ng Linan, let alone see a real tarsier!
@Ayel, Go! Bihira ata tong open house nato! @Alexis, kaya dapat punta ka.

doc,
paano ang meals natin?
pa sponsor nyo sa smi ang meals natin hehehehe
@Arnel, for as long as yung 8 years old mo is bugoy and can walk (or you’re willing to carry him when his resting) pwede yan. Fun walk lang to. More of leisurely walk..@Rosilie, I’m not so sure about the meals pero we can pool our resources and do outdoor cooking experience…
@Rosilie @Arnel, one more thing, decide if you’ll go on with the overnight event o dun lang sa falls hop and sanctuary visit lang. There’s a night event of socializing and live band pa din. For the gamit, daypack and tents siguro is needed if your coming as a family.
Ay, ang saya nito, i can ask the hybby for the day tour lang.
doc, we would like the overnight camp. it will be a great experience for our little one,.and for us as family. its been long since our last climb.
