Okay, hands down, Tita Fannies got the best roasted liempo and chicken in Iligan City. Take that from a voracious liempo eater like me. They’re not called Iligan’s best liempo for nothing. Let’s leave it at that.
That’s not saying though, that Tita Fannies other food cuisine isn’t equally delicious. Their kinilaw na malasugue (part of Sinuglaw dish in a Bilao) befits my taste buds. Pork barbecue is juiciest and best eaten “hot” and their lumpiang shanghai, crunchy tasty. Something I look for in this foodies.
One that surprised me though was the mango float dessert and the buko halo. The sweet, creamy buko halo is just enough for glucose allergics like me. I’ve tasted quite a lot of buko halo in many places but I haven’t tasted any with this “right” sweetness on it. That’s more than a plus to me.

The service is fast and the crew very accommodating. Their branch along Consunji St. near the mall, is vibrantly and elegantly designed that your sumptuous dinner is coupled with a refreshing and relaxing environment. I don’t know if this matters to most who dine at Tita Fannies, but for travelers like me (who spent hours and days on the road and up there in the mountains) dining out in a relaxing restaurant during urban breaks is a must.
Last but probably the best reason why one should dine at Tita Fannies- it’s Iligan’s very own, home grown, booming franchise restaurant since 1999. It’s this entrepreneurial spirit of Iliganons that drive them to put up or produce something of brand that can be called truly Iliganon. For that, no visitor should leave Iligan City without dining at Tita Fannies!
