Breaking Dawn at Lake Seloton, Lake Sebu

Wait, that’s two lakes in a title, right?  Lake Sebu,  a town in South Cotabato, got its name from the largest of the three lakes in it-  Lake Sebu.  Lake Lahit is the smallest while Lake Seloton is the deepest. Of the three, Lake Seloton became my recent favorite, despite being located in a secluded area and away from Lake Sebu’s main road. It is said that of the three lakes in Lake Sebu, Lake Seloton has the best sunrise view. The changing colors at dawn break in Lake Seloton is just awesome to miss. I tried capturing sunrise at Lake Seloton during my first visit there, but rain clouds covered most of the sun during that day.

On my second trip , I got lucky.

Take a look.

I stayed at Sunrise Garden Lake Resort overnight just to catch this exploding morning color. You can watch and shoot sunrise right in their backyard!

Here’s one more sunrise photo taken at Sunrise garden Lake Resort.Lake Seloton

The night before, I tried night photography. Here’s,  one shot I took:
