This breathtaking falls withstood frequent “redesigns” by storms and floods. Situated in the hinterlands of Campawan in Baganga Davao Oriental, the falls is a must see when you’re in Davao Oriental.
Carved by a natural disaster, the combination of “stoic” mangrove trees and the beautiful sunrise made Sunrise Boulevard in Baganga town of Davao Oriental a great spot for landscape photography.
I’m intrigued why most photos of this majestic falls are from the same vantage point- up from what seems to be a bridge and the side like a ledge. So I ended up shooting from down under the bridge
I swore not to go back to Matigol Falls after that climbing ordeal I had during my first hike here. But, I’m here, we’re here and scaling it again. If only to photograph the entirety of this humungous beauty and get be united with trekking buddies for over a decade!
