(Note: If not for this invitation, I wouldn’t have known there were actually tarsiers in the vicinity of Mt. Matutum.)
T’mana tu di Linan are the B’laan phrase which means “walk to Linan”. And Linan, is a sanctuary for Tarsiers near Mt. Matutum and located in Tupi South Cotabato.
T’mana tu di Linan is a fun(d) drive of Brgy. Linan, the Municipal Government of Tupi and is supported by the South Cotabato Arts, Culture, Tourism and Sports Promotion Unit (ACTS), the South Cotabato Culture and Arts Foundation Inc. (SCAFFI), and the Arts, Culture, Tourism and Sports Coordinators of South Cotabato. (ACTS -SC) to save the tarsiers and sanctuary from disappearing in the area. An applaud able effort indeed. Planned Itinerary and details of the fun walk can be seen at Tupi Government website and is reprinted here for your convenience. Feel free to contact their coordinators at number given in the posters!
